Dawn Crothers has just launched some amazing new Thursday evening art classes aimed specifically at Teenagers!
The new classes will be held at Dawn's studio in East Belfast were the young artists will get a chance to come along and be inspired by Dawn in her studio setting.
Dawn commented " I have been taking art classes for children now for over 10 years and have seen the benefits of the creative side to the children's education and general health and well being. This new class for teenagers has been in the pipeline for quite sometime now and am now so pleased to announce the new classes on the third Thursday of every month at my studio space and gallery in East Belfast near Stormont. Lots of the parents have been asking me to do a class for older children and have now the capability of doing so. The classes will be a great opportunity for young people to bring along their own projects or art course work and work in a relaxed and inspiring location"

Happens the third Thursday of every month

TIME AND AGES
AGES 13+
6.30pm to 8.30pm each evening

This is a great opportunity for young people interested in art to come along and paint alongside a professional artist in a studio setting.

Dawn has created an evening were teenagers can come along to the studio, relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of art.
Creativity is at the heart of this class that's takes place the third Thursday evening of every month and the students are encouraged to build on their own individual art style.
A truly inspiring evening for any teenager interested in art.

Course Details
All the classes and workshops are held at Whalley Fine Art were the teenagers will create high quality art allowing them to develop fundamental skills in a fun and exciting way.

The teenagers are encouraged to bring along school/ course work and work on their own projects. Dawn will be at hand to give advice and help with different techniques and the creative thinking process.

I have found over the last few years that by teaching the children to get back to the basics of drawing, painting and sculpting can really help them in becoming more confident and creative in their thinking in everyday life. Most of all I will make their experience fun and it is always a chance to meet new friends and paint with an established artist and experience a studio/gallery type environment! A great activity for a Thursday Evening!

Basic materials are provided at the studio but please feel free to bring along
your own equipment and canvasses/sketch books etc.

Insurance and Accreditation
Dawn is trained and is certificated in Child Protection and has training in basic first aid.
